Shield Support Services Ltd assist the Environment Agency with removal of burning waste.

An estimated 6000 tonnes of illegally-tipped waste was burning.

Shield Support Services provided the necessary plant & equipment to insert

a fire-break for the Emergency Services, to prevent further ignition of wastes and

surrounding property.

Working 24 hrs a day with the Environment Agency and Fire Services the

Shield Response Team transferred the burning waste to a designated site to

be extinguished, prior to disposal.

Shield also carried out the controlled demolition to the unsafe buildings, with a final sweep for aesthetics.
